About The Project

"Life is a Lark at Willow Grove Park." Those words are known to generations of Philadelphians as the welcoming slogan of Willow Grove Park. With "More Than A Lark," we want to bring the park and the memories back to life. 

For those born after the park closed, it will be a chance to discover a piece of local history, sadly largely unknown to those who weren't there. By combining photos and home movies, with the stories of those who visited the park, "More Than A Lark" will be a nostalgic and fun look at Willow Grove Park.
